¿Frequently asked questions?

  • Are dogs allowed?

    • We love puppers, just not on the patio (or inside). Unless of course they have a drivers license that proves they are of the legal drinking age or they are a registered and licensed service dog (please provide documentation).

  • Do you take walkins?

    • Yes—both bars are first come, first served and offer the full menu. We do open almost all tables available for the day to reserve on OpenTable, so if you want a guranteed table, grab a reso online.

  • Do you take reservations?

    • Yep, and they’re strongly encouraged, especially on the weekends. Because we’re so reservation friendly, your reservation is likely followed by another party that planned ahead too. That means we'll eventually need your table back so we can fulfill obligations we made to others, too. We promise we don't enforce table time limits unless we need to, and you’re welcome to try your luck at one of our bars afterward.

      • Phones are staffed during business hours only, so please make your reservation online if you are able.

      • All online reservations labeled “Outdoor Seating” on OpenTable will secure a table on our PATIO.

      • All online reservations labeled “Standard Seating” on OpenTable will secure a table INDOORS.

      • All online reservations labeled “Bar Seating” on OpenTable will secure seats at one of our BAR COUNTERS.

      • Please note: outdoor reservations DO NOT secure a backup indoor table in the event of rain.

  • What are the current time limits for reservations?

    • Wed + Thurs:

      • Parties of 2-4: 1 hr, 45 min.

      • Parties 3-6: 1 hr, 45 min.

      • Parties 7+: 2 hrs.

    • Please let us know if you are running behind. We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes past your reservation time before we cancel it. In either case, on busy days this time will cut into your total allocated time.

  • Can I make a reservation for the uncovered section of the patio?

    • Weather and staffing permitting, we do open up reservations for all tables on the patio, but there is not a way to reserve specific sections of the patio.

    Private Events

  • How big a party can I throw?

    • With over 150 total seats inside and nearly 170 seats on our patio, we are able to accommodate both large and small groups for any occasion. A full venue buyout can host 220 guests seated and 260 standing.

  • How long can I have a shindig for?

    • We allocate 2.5 hours for all private dining events. Longer events are available too.

  • Can I rent the patio?

    • Kind of. We love selling the patio, but we have a lot of experience in the weather business. All events booked for outside spaces have a corresponding indoor space reserved until the day of the event. We’ll make a final decision as to the location (inside or outside) of your event on the day of.

  • What’s an F&B minimum tho?

    • The F&B minimum is the minimum spend for your event. All food and beverage purchases made at your event apply to your food & beverage (f&b) minimum. In the event that your f&b minimum isn’t reached through food and beverage purchases during the time period allocated for your party, you will be charged the difference between the predetermined minimum and your pretax and gratuity total. If your total exceeds the F&B minimum, you’ll be charged that total.

  • Can I rent the entire venue?

    • Yes. Full venue buyouts are subject to increased minimums.

  • Can I get married at PY?

    • First off, we’d be flattered. And we kinda built the place with weddings in mind. Yes, you can get married here—ceremony, reception, bands, dance floor, etc. And you don’t need to worry about staff, glassware, plateware, linens, furniture rentals, a PA system, or anything else that a lot of wedding venues require you to think about.

    • Weddings require a full venue buyout.

  • Do I need to put down a deposit?

    • In order to secure the time and space for your event, we require a 30% deposit based upon the estimated total of your event.

  • I want to do an event on a Monday or a Tuesday, but you guys are closed…

    • We are available for full inside, full patio, or full venue buyouts only on Mondays and Tuesdays.

  • What about events in The Alderman?

    • Can I rent The Alderman for a private event?

      • Yes.

  • Do I need reservations for The Alderman?

    • Reservations aren’t “necessary”, but you’ll probably have a hard time walking in, particularly on weekends. Click here for more info on The Alderman.
